Ashley Harper Cottrell
Sports Marketing Coordinator

Ashley joined the Maryland Office of Sports Marketing team in January 2009 as part of her senior level internship to graduate university.  Her main duties include development and maintenance of the Office of Sports Marketing website, blog and twitter accounts; bid development; and tradeshow/presentation collateral for the Director. Ashley is also a part of the working committee for the Baltimore, Maryland/USA Destination bid for the 2018/2022 FIFA World Cup™ and instrumental in developing the official bid document.

Ashley is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Sports Management, Concentration in Marketing and Minor in Business.

Public Information Officer- Maryland Stadium Authority

Jan joined the Maryland Office of Sports Marketing team as their leading Maryland expert and driving force behind the Here 2 Play blog. In between here duties at MSA, Jan regales the world with her knowledge of the sporting landscape here in Maryland. Most weekends you can find her wandering the state checking out the latest sporting events and venues. Jan is also a part of the working committee for the Baltimore, Maryland/USA Destination bid for the 2018/2022 FIFA World Cup™.
